[edit] Biographical Information
Joe Ayrault was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 5th round of the 1990 amateur draft out of Sarasota High School in Sarasota, FL. Joe spent his entire playing career in the Atlanta organization from 1990-97. He made his only Major League appearances in 1996 when he played in seven games for the Braves and made the post-season roster as the third-string catcher.
Joe served as a coach with the GCL Rangers in 2001, Savannah Sand Gnats in 2002, Stockton Ports in 2003, GCL Reds in 2004, and Sarasota Reds in 2005 and 2006. He was given his first assignment as a manager in 2007 for Sarasota.
