Pitcher Joe Grahe was signed as a 2nd round pick in the 1989 amateur draft by the California Angels and scout Lin Garrett.
Grahe is the pitcher that David Hulse was facing during his famous October 4, 1992 at bat during which he fouled off four consecutive pitches into the same spot of the Angels' dugout.
