Outfielder Jimmy Sanders played in the minors from 1923 to 1939, collecting 2,150 hits 395 2B, and 368 SB to go with a .296 average. He led the 1926 South Atlantic League with 42 stolen bases, and the 1928 Central League with 29. He also led the 1927 Western Association with 14 triples. In 1934, Sanders not only led the Bi-State League, but all of the minor leagues with his .423 average.
