[edit] Biographical Information
Jimmy Mathison was in the majors in 1902, playing third base pretty much every day at the end of the season. The Baltimore Orioles used many players at third that year, with Roger Bresnahan getting 30 appearances to lead the group, barely beating out Jimmy's 28 appearances at the hot corner.
"Baltimore has two fine young players in Mathison and Arndt." - Sporting Life, October 4, 1902
