Jim Saul

James Allen Saul

Catcher Jim Saul played in the minors from 1959 to 1972, mainly as a back-up catcher.

Saul was a Chicago Cubs coach in 1975 and 1976 and a member of the Oakland Athletics coaching staff in 1979, both times working under Jim Marshall. Marshall had managed Saul in both 1970 (San Antonio Missions) and 1972 (Wichita Aeros). In 2008, Saul is a coach for the Bluefield Orioles.
