Jim Ridley was a minor league outfielder in 1964-1965. Ridley coached the Canadian Junior National Team from 1983-1988, guiding them to two Bronze Medals. He managed Team Canada in the 1988 Olympics and 1991 Pan American Games. He scouted for the Toronto Blue Jays (1976-2002) and Minnesota Twins (until his death in 2008). He coached the Medicine Hat Blue Jays from 1978-1980. Ridley died of cancer at age 64.
