Jim Price was a popular and reliable backup receiver for Bill Freehan, and still lives and works in the Detroit, MI area. He has been a broadcaster for the Detroit Tigers since 1993, working television through 1998 and radio since 1999. In the latter role, he has sometimes added play-by-play to his analyst duties.
