Jim Poole had 3150 hits including 662 2B and 311 HR and 240 SB in the minor leagues between 1914 and 1946.
Poole was a scout for the Philadelphia A's in 1948-1949.
In 1941, Poole managed two sons, 17-year-old infielder Jim Poole Jr. and 22-year-old pitcher Phil Poole. [1]
