Jim Miles was the first major leaguer out of Delta State University.
Miles became the baseball coach at Northwest Mississippi Community College from 1979 to 1997 after having played there in the 60's.
His managers with the 1968 Washington Senators and 1969 Washington Senators were Jim Lemon and Ted Williams.
