Jim Henry pitched three years in the majors with an overall record of 6-2 and one save. Most of his games were with the 1936 Red Sox.
Henry was born in Danville, VA in 1910. Only two other major leaguers were born in Virginia in 1910: Bud Thomas and George McQuinn.
Jim's minor league career included multiple seasons at Charlotte, Memphis and Minneapolis. He went 19-13 for Memphis in 1935.
