Jim Dobson was a third baseman who is most notable for winning the 1959 College World Series Most Outstanding Player award while a sophomore at University of Oklahoma. He is one of two players from University of Oklahoma to win that award. The others is Chip Glass. He spent two years in the minors, hitting 14 homers with 65 RBI.
