Jim Crawford has been a college coach, minor league coach and scout.
Crawford was a high school coach then was an assistant under Eddie Stanky at the University of South Alabama. In 1980, he was head coach when Stanky had a year off. In 1989, he coached for the Gastonia Rangers. Crawford later was a Chicago Cubs scout, signing Ryan Theriot and Hayden Simpson.
