Jim Cook played in eight games for the 1903 Cubs.
He was at the University of Illinois with two pitchers, Cy Falkenberg and Carl Lundgren. Lundgren broke in with the Cubs in 1902. Falkenberg broke in with Pittsburgh in 1903.
His minor league career went on through 1911. In 1906 he hit .343 with Pueblo.
