Jim Brillheart pitched in pro ball from 1921 to 1951. In the minor leagues he pitched 4,887 innings in 956 games with a 309-266 record and a 3.91 ERA. He led the American Association in games pitched in 1928, 1929, and 1930.
Brillheart managed the 1946 and 1948 San Diego Padres, 1948, 1950-1951 Tacoma Tigers and the 1949 Spokane Indians.
