[edit] Biographical Information
Played for the Chunichi Dragons in Japan from 1963 to 1965 and coached for Chunichi from 1981 to 1983.
Marshall was a coach for the Chicago Cubs in 1974 until taking over as manager in mid-season.
In 1990, he managed the Sun City Rays of the Senior Professional Baseball Association until the league ceased operations in December.
In 2011, Marshall is Senior Advisor, Pacific Rim Operations for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
