 Biographical Information
Jim Lindsey pitched nine seasons in the big leagues, primarily as a reliever. He was a part of the Gas House Gang, appearing in the 1930 World Series and 1931 World Series with the St. Louis Cardinals and also playing part of the season with the team in 1934. The bulk of his major league career happened when he was in his mid to late 30's.
Jim pitched in the minors for many years, accumulating at least 143 minor league victories. With Houston in 1928 he went 25-10. He was still pitching in the minors at age 42.
