Jim Jackson played four seasons in the majors, getting most of his at-bats for the Cleveland Indians of 1904-05.
Jackson broke into the majors with the 1901 Orioles in the first year of the American League, where he led outfielders with a .971 fielding percentage.
Although Jackson was born in Philly and died in Philly and attended the University of Pennsylvania in Philly, he never played major league ball in Philly.
