Jim Campanis is the son of Al Campanis and the father of Jim Campanis, Jr., who was a member of the 1988 Team USA which qualified for the 1988 Olympics, who never made it to the majors.
Jim Campanis played parts of six seasons in the majors, as a back-up catcher, but never hit much: his career batting average is .147.
