Jim Bullinger is the brother of Kirk Bullinger. Following the 1989 minor league season, he converted to pitching.
He is one of the few players to homer in his first major league at-bat; that feat is even rarer for a pitcher like him. He had a 25-inning scoreless streak at one point in 1995.
He relied on a curveball.
