Jesus Figueroa played one big leage season, 1980 with the Chicago Cubs. Used mostly as a pinch-hitter Figueroa hit a respectable .253. He was traded to the San Francisco Giants in the off-season but never made it back to the majors. Had one career homerun on August 7, 1980 against Eddie Solomon of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Figueroa currently is a Batting Practice Pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays, a position he has held since 1989.
