The son of Jesse Orosco, Jesse Orosco, Jr. turned pro in 2008. After two years at Grossmont College, he was picked by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 38th round of the 2008 amateur draft. He debuted with the Missoula Osprey, going 3-0 with a 3.72 ERA in 17 games.
