Jerry Weinstein

Jerry Weinstein became manager of the Modesto Nuts in 2007.
Previously, he compiled an 831-208 record in 23 seasons as head coach at Sacramento City College, guiding the Panthers to 16 conference championships, two co-conference titles, a state title in 1988 and a national crown in 1998. While there, he developed 27 players who went on to play Major League baseball. He coached Team USA in the 1992 Olympics.
Weinstein served as catching coordinator for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1999 and was Director of Player Development for the Dodgers in 2000 and 2001. He also spent time as an assitant coach at California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo (2001-2005).
Weinstein is a member of the California Community College Baseball Hall of Fame and Sacramento City College Sports Hall of Fame.
