Jerry Meyers

Jerry Meyers has been a longtime college coach.
Meyers was All-Big Ten Conference as a senior pitcher at Iowa State. He then coached for Gulf Coast Community College from 1989-1991. He was pitching coach and recruiting coordinator for UNC Wilmington from 1992-1995, then spent one year as an assistant at Old Dominion University.
From 1997-2004, he was an assistant at the University of South Carolina. He was pitching coach for South Carolina at the 2002 College World Series, 2003 College World Series and 2004 College World Series.
Meyers returned to Old Dominion as heasd coach in 2005 and guided them to a 39-17 record in 2006 and 35-24 in 2007. He was pitching coach for the USA when they won Gold at the 2008 World University Championship. Meyers left ODU to be the pitching coach at the University of South Carolina in 2011.
