Before emtering into the Navy as a Naval Aviator, second baseman Jerry Daunt attended Boston College. He played for the Fall River Indians in 1946, hitting .298 with 6 home runs in 70 games.
Daunt later went on to work for the FBI for many years, creating the National Crime Investigation Center (NCIC).
Jerome Daunt passed away Tuesday, Feburary 3, 2009.
