Jerry Parker Dale

Jerry Dale was a pitcher for the Fulton Railroaders in 1951-1952. After going 10-9 5.06 ERA and 9-14 5.51 ERA, he was released by the Washington Senators. After spending two years on the National defense list, he returned with the 1955 Clovis Pioneers leading the West Texas-New Mexico League with 188 runs and 155 runs, while going 13-10 7.11 ERA. With the 1956 El Paso Texans, Dale posted a 2-2 9.00 ERA in 43 IP.

Dale began as an umpire in the Pioneer League in 1963 and the Pacific Coast League in 1964-1970. He was then a National League umpire from 1971 to 1985.
