Catcher Jeff Smith was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 20th round of the 1995 amateur draft. He played in the minor leagues for 9 seasons for the Twins (1996-2002), Boston Red Sox (2003) and Texas Rangers (2003-2004).
He coached the GCL Twins in 2005 and managed the Beloit Snappers in 2006-2007.
Slated to be Field Manager for the 2008 Fort Myers Miracle.
