Jeff Pfeffer had a substantial 13-year major league career from 1911-24, winning 158 games. He was a key pitcher on the pennant winning 1916 Robins and 1920 Robins.
He is not the same player as Big Jeff Pfeffer, whose career overlapped in 1911 with his. Neither player's real name was actually "Jeff".
Following his playing career, Pfeffer was an umpire in the American Association.
