[edit] Biographical Information
Jeff Livesey played in the minor leagues from 1988-1995. A light-hitting back-up catcher, he failed to reach .200 in 1990 or 1992 and barely topped .200 in 1989. He spent parts of three seasons at AAA.
Livesey later managed in the minors. He was bench coach for Marty Brown when Brown managed the Hiroshima Carp from 2006 through 2009 then followed Brown to the Rakuten Golden Eagles in 2010. He returned stateside in 2011 as the Pittsburgh Pirates' minor league hitting coordinator.
