Jeff Juden was signed as a 1st round pick in the 1989 amateur draft by the Houston Astros and scout Tom Mooney.
Juden managed to play for eight teams in eight seasons. He was also known as a guitarist, which may also have contributed to his unique personality. Once won 10 games in a row over a year and a half without losing.
He appeared in the 1st and 5th games of the 1997 World Series, both times relieving in games that Orel Hershiser had started.
