[edit] Biographical Information

After mediocre seasons with the Florence Blue Jays in 1983 and Knoxville Blue Jays the next two years, Jeff Hearron got a cup of coffee in the majors with the Toronto Blue Jays in 1985 and again at the tail end of the 1986 season. He did get on the Blue Jays' postseason roster in 1985 and got into a couple of games as a defensive substitute in the ALCS against the Kansas City Royals.

He missed most of the 1987 season due to reconstructive shoulder surgery and returned in 1988 for the Myrtle Beach Blue Jays, as the rare player with major league experience in a mid-level class A circuit. Hearron hit .218/~.306/.414 and was released. He hit .203 for the Las Vegas Stars in 1989 and .235 for the Iowa Cubs a year later before hanging up the spikes.
