[edit] Biographical Information

After mediocre seasons with the Florence Blue Jays in 1983 and Knoxville Blue Jays the next two years, Jeff Hearron got a cup of coffee in the majors in 1985. He missed most of the 1987 season due to reconstructive shoulder surgery and returned in 1988 for the Myrtle Beach Blue Jays, as the rare player with major league experience in a mid-level class A circuit. Hearron hit .218/~.306/.414 and was released. He hit .203 for the Las Vegas Stars in 1989 and .235 for the Iowa Cubs a year later before hanging up the spikes.
