Jason Middlebrook was 1-1 with a 4.05 ERA in the 1993 World Junior Championship. He took the US's only loss, a 5-1 defeat to Liván Hernández in the Gold Medal Game. He was 0-1 with a 13.50 ERA for Team USA in the 1994 Baseball World Cup. He had the team's worst ERA and didn't make it out of the first inning against the Cuban national team.
