The son of Bill Holowaty and brother of Jared Holowaty, Jason Holowaty has been active in developing baseball internationally.
Holowaty played for Brown University. In 1998, he set the Western Australia Baseball League record for steals. He later played in the British leagues (winning a batting title) and became director of MLB International's Game Development operations in Europe and Africa. In 2009, he played for the Cougars Montigny in the Division Elite and Namur Angels of Belgium. He was on Britain's preliminary roster for the 2009 Baseball World Cup.
