Jason Standridge joined the Softbank Hawks in 2007. He made his Japanese debut on June 23 in relief of Toshiya Sugiuchi with a 4-0 deficit and walked two of the four batters he faced, but got the victory when the Hawks rallied for six runs the next inning.
