Federation Baseball Federation of Japan

The Japan national baseball team is a national team of Japan and is controlled by the Baseball Federation of Japan. It represents the nation in senior-level men's international competition. The team is a member of the BFA.

Japan is one of the few countries to employ an amateur and professional version of its national team; the amateur squad competes in most events, while the pros are only used for events such as the Olympics and World Baseball Classic.
