James Allen Dismuke

1B/OF Jamie Dismuke was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 12th round of the 1989 amateur draft. He played in the Reds (1989-1995, 1997), Toronto Blue Jays (1996), and Detroit Tigers (1996) chains, reaching AAA for all of 1994 (.266/≈.345/.422) and parts of 1996 (13 games) and 1997 (19 games).

Dismuke began his coaching career in 2000. He was the coach of the Chattanooga Lookouts from 2004-2008. Dismuke was announced as the manager of the Dayton Dragons in October 208, but in December he accepted the position of hitting coach for the Gwinnett Braves.
