[edit] Biographical Information

James Lehan was for many decades thought to be Mike Lehane, a player who appeared in 1890 and 1891. However, SABR researchers in 2004 uncovered that he was a different individual, and removed his statistics from those of Lehane. Lehan was 28 when he appeared in the Union Association, getting 4 hits in 12 at-bats, and playing mostly shortstop.
