James Hoye
- Height 6' 0", Weight 175 lb.
James Hoye began his umpiring career in the 1995 New York-Penn League. He moved up to the South Atlantic League in 1996 and the Florida State League in 1998. From 2001-2008, he has been an International League umpire and he was in the Arizona Fall League from 2002-2007. From 2003-2009, Hoye was a substitute umpire in the major leagues. He also worked the 2006 World Baseball Classic. He was appointed to the MLB staff in 2010.
