Veteran Jair Josepha hit .258/.395/.387 for the Royal Scorpions in the 2008 Curacao league. For the Netherlands Antilles in the 2008 Americas Baseball Cup, the outfielder hit .238/.320/.286. In Curacao in '09, he batted .383/.485/.517 to finish second in batting behind Luisgardo Alvarez. He then joined the Antilles for the 2009 Baseball World Cup.
