Jack Marshall

Jack Marshall pitched a decade in the Negro Leagues. He debuted with the 1920 Chicago American Giants, going 3-5. He followed with a 6-3, 3.78 season. In '22, he was 6-4 with a 4.87 RA for the Detroit Stars then was 2-6 with one save and a 4.66 ERA for Chicago in 1923. In '24, he went to the new powerhouse, the Kansas City Monarchs, and went 1-1, not pitching in the 1924 Negro World Series. In 1928, Marshall returned after a couple years off to go 11-6 for Detroit. He finished his career back in Chicago in '29, posting a 3-4 record to finish his career at 32-29.
