[edit] Biographical Information
"Jack Fee, the Carbondale strong boy, is just beginning to show the lightning speed that has made him famous." - Sporting Life in the May 18, 1895 issue
Jack Fee pitched seven games for the 1889 Indianapolis Hoosiers. Born in Carbondale, PA, most of his pro career was in the minors with teams in Pennsylvania and on the East Coast.
Sporting Life on March 8, 1913 reported that he was dying of kidney trouble. His career started in Carbondale, and later in 1895 while with Scranton he "threw his arm out and retired". The paper was incorrect, however, about his being with Scranton in 1895 - he was with Scranton in 1893, and with Carbondale and Pottsville in 1895.
