Biographical Information[edit]

Jack Corcoran had a long minor league career and came to the majors with the 1884 Brooklyn Atlantics of the 1884 Union Association. He was the team's regular catcher.

Corcoran, who played several seasons for Jersey City, made Jersey City his place of residence and later died there in 1935.

He is apparently not related to two other Corcorans in the majors in 1884, Larry Corcoran and Mike Corcoran.
