Jack Lamabe was the Head Coach at Jacksonville University from 1974 to 1978 and Louisiana State University from 1979 to 1983.
In his major league days, his main teammates were Carl Yastrzemski, Dick Radatz and Dick Stuart, as most of his time was spent with the Boston Red Sox. However, he won a World Series ring in 1967 pitching for the St. Louis Cardinals against the Red Sox.
