[edit] Biographical Information

Joe Young, often called "J.B.", was briefly in the majors and was also active in local baseball in central Pennsylvania. He was apparently successful in business, as a druggist, owner of a general store, and proprietor of a hotel. His parents came from Germany, and as a teen he worked in the mines.
