John B. Martin

J.B. Martin was a dentist, drug store and funeral home operator, real estate mogul and hotel owner who was heavily involved in Negro League baseball. He co-owned the Memphis Red Sox and Chicago American Giants. He was president of the Negro Southern League and Negro American League during his career.
