Ismael Salgado managed for seven seasons in Cuba, with a 177-312 record, one of the worst for skippers with 5+ seasons. He guided Pinar del Rio from 1967-1968 to 1969-1970, the Vegueros in 1970-1971 and 1971-1972 and La Habana in 1977-1978 and 1978-1979.
