Isidro Márquez pitched seven games for the 1995 White Sox. His minor league and international career, so far, has lasted from 1988-2008.

Márquez, born in Mexico, started in the minors in 1988 in the Dodgers organization, where he would stay through 1993, rising as high as AAA ball. Moving to the Chicago White Sox organization in 1994-95, he came to the majors in 1995.

Márquez has pitched for many years in Mexico, mostly with Campeche but also with other teams. In 2008 he pitched for Veracruz, a team which also featured former major leaguer Jose Offerman. Márquez had 280 Mexican League saves as of 2008, making him the league's all-time leader.
