Henry Cooke McIlveen, commonly nicknamed "Irish" because he was born in Belfast, Ireland, is buried at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Lorain, OH.

McIlveen pitched for the 1906 Pittsburgh Pirates (and hit .400 in 5 at-bats), and then came back in 1908-09 as an outfielder. He mostly backed up the 36-year-old Willie Keeler in 1908 in right field.

He went to Pennsylvania State University in 1903-06, at the same time as Birdie Cree, who became his major league teammate in 1908-09.

He hit .303 for Steubenville in 1907.
