[edit] Biographical Information
Ike Rockenfield played at least 11 years in the minors, coming to the majors to be the regular second baseman for the 1905 Browns and to continue as a player for the 1906 Browns.
Rockenfield moved around a whole lot during his minor league career, usually playing for two or more teams each year. His best year with the bat was 1904 with Spokane, when he hit .361 in 124 games.
Sources say his minor league career lasted from 1901-12 but since he was already 24 in 1901, it's possible he was in the minors before that as well.
After baseball he was a cigar salesman.
