Huyler Westervelt pitched 23 games for the 1894 New York Giants.
Later, he was an amateur pitcher of some success, and also worked for a stockbrokerage.
Huyler was his mother's maiden name.
The Sporting Life of March 21, 1896 said he was still on the Giants' reserve list and had resolved to present the matter to arbitration.
