Hugh Rudisill was a minor league player and manager. He played for the Norfolk Tars (1942, 1946) and Lincolnton Cardinals (1948-50). He hit .267 with 17 home runs in 464 games over his five-year minor league career.

In 1950, he managed the Lincolnton Cardinals until being replaced by Nathaniel Dodgin. He managed them again in 1953, replacing Burl Storie and being replaced by Junior Dodgin. They moved to Statesville, NC on July 12 to become the Statesville Sports.
